Update 24/03/20

Dear Friends of Regency Pizza

Following official guidance from the authorities around the need to keep food distribution channels open to provide the community with access to food while based at home, we will be continuing with a CONTACTLESS DELIVERY SERVICE ONLY with payments taken online and over the phone.

We have decided to close all of our Takeaway services and in-store collections where it is more difficult to practically maintain social distancing. The health, safety and wellbeing of our customers and colleagues will always be our priority.

Our team members continue to provide the best food and service, for them we have put in further measures to ensure their safety and well-being. We would like to thank all of our incredible staff and loyal customers for their support during these extremely challenging times.

We’re here for you all in this time of isolation and will continue to regularly update our social media channels and website with the latest information about our services and support network.

Please stay safe at home. Kind regards, From all the team at Regency Pizza.

Update 23/03/20

Dear Friends of Regency Pizza

Contactless Deliveries – in response to the COVID-19 outbreak

As part of our ongoing social responsibility we are now operating a Contactless Delivery Service with immediate effect. This service means that our products are left in a safe place in a bid to protect both the customer and our drivers, whilst maintaining a 2 metre distance at all times. We can also only accept payment by card for all deliveries and online collections. We will not be accepting payment by cash. A second preventative measure in the interest of safety of our customers and staff is that we will be limiting the overall number of customers in-store at any one time to 3 in total.

Customers will be asked to stand behind the lines provided in-store. Once customers have placed their orders, they will be requested to wait outside the store, observing social distancing at all times. Payment will be appreciated by card where possible.

From all the team at Regency Pizza.

Dear Friends of Regency Pizza

As we all know, the rapid onset of COVID-19 virus is an evolving challenge to ourselves and the hospitality sector as a whole.

Our main interest and focus is for the health and well-being of all our customers and staff.

We continue to monitor the Government guidelines and follow the instructions accordingly.

We’re here for you… The coronavirus outbreak means that many of us are either self-isolating, working from home or just struggling to find our usual faves while we do our grocery shop. Those who are unable to go out or perhaps need a little light relief may find that a takeaway lightens the load a little! We are continuing to be open 7 days per week, you can place your order online here or call the stores direct, plus we’ve adopted more flexible processes in light of the outbreak.

Be reassured. – The NHS has stated that it’s very unlikely that COVID-19 can be spread through packages or food, and we have taken steps to ensure that customers and delivery drivers can continue to feel safe using our services. – As a business Regency already has very high hygiene standards and strict food handling procedures. In light of the current situation we’re carefully following the advice from health authorities. We’ve implemented a number of additional precautions such as increased hand washing and sanitisation as well as frequent anti-bac cleaning of all surfaces, especially door handles, counter tops and card payment machines. – There are no reported cases of the virus amongst any of our customers or any of our team at present, this is what we are doing to ensure we can protect you as much as possible:

    • If you are not feeling great, we ask you to postpone your visit to our stores until you’re feeling better. • We always extend a warm welcome to arriving guests, however we must confirm that there will be NO physical contact including a handshake. • We ask for your help in washing your hands thoroughly as often as possible. • We are cleaning and sanitising all touched surfaces i.e. door handles, cloakrooms, card payment machines etc. as often as possible. • We are monitoring the health of every employee closely. Any team member that presents symptoms, however mild, will not be entering any of our stores for a minimum of seven days.

Key sources of information to keep updated The following website is useful to keep abreast of the latest information relating to Coronavirus. UK Government Site –https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public

These are extraordinary times for us all, however, it is very much business as usual although we are mindful that things are changing quickly for everyone.

Many thanks in advance for your continued support. From all the team at Regency Pizza.
